March 21st, 2009 at the JH Mountain Resort

The 2009 US Ski Mountaineering National Championship presented by Dynafit, will take place Saturday March 21st, with an 8am start, at the JH Mountain Resort.

Registration will take place at Teton Mountaineering Friday, March 20th between 5 & 7pm. Entry fee is $35, discounted lift ticket is $43. (Ticket holders need NOT purchase an additional pass for the race) Entry includes a Patagonia Capilene event t-shirt and goody bag.

Race category will have approx. 6,000 ft of climbing. Rec category will have approximately 2,500 ft of climbing. There will also be a "Heavy Metal" category for those that do not have lightweight backcountry gear.

Free beer and food after the race, as well as a huge raffle and the crowning of the male and female National Champions.
